7 Piece Polyhedral Sets

Now GAMESCIENCE® HIGH IMPACT™ PRECISION EDGED™ Polyhedral Dice are available in a 7-PIECE SET featuring the DECKAIDER™ D10 along with D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and a True D20, packaged in clear plastic retail packaging.

Since 1974, Gamescience® has been making dice from the highest quality plastics. Avoiding the tumbling process gives Gamescience® dice a razor edge and ensures uniformity. Each face has equal opportunity to land every time. A mold-point may be noticed on one face of the die and may require some touch up with model-grade sandpaper, we do try to catch and remove any substantial issues prior to shipping but do occasionally miss one.

Gamescience® dice are backed by a 2 year guarantee against premature wear, no other dice manufacturer offers that.

To assure that every edge and vertex holds its mathematically precise dimensions, all Gamescience® dice are clipped by hand from the casting sprue, which leaves a minor blemish. These sharp pristine edges dissipate uniform amounts of energy as each contacts the table. Filing down the blemish improves randomization. Imported dice have no blemish cause they are tumbled in a rock polisher, which eliminates the blemish while rounding off all of the edges, and changes each face and edge into a unique shape which leaves every dice egg shaped and unable to randomize evenly.

Dark and subtle
This is a much darker shade of purple than its amethyst counterpart, so it lacks some of the luster that its sister has. However, these are beautiful in their own right. The purple hue has the appearance of a subtle glow when you hold the set in your hands. I inked them silver and they look awesome, perfect for a drow priestess!

Childhood restored!!
One of my first sets of dice from back in the day was this set. Over the years, I've managed to lose one or two of the dice, so I'm really happy to have a full tanzanite set again!! Color is a smidgen darker than the old ones, but they roll just as nicely. Sprues were cut off nice and clean, too! There are some cosmetic casting imperfections, but overall? Still my favorite dice!!

A quality product
Bought a set (as part of a quite larger order) and 3 extra d6 for a full D&D rpg set. Definitely the best set I've ever laid eyes and hands upon. You can take care of the remaining sprue mark with a small file (preferably one suitable for miniatures, since nail files suited me less well because of their width/size). In some cases you may even be able to clear it with the *CAREFUL* use of an x-acto knife. If you do so please be careful and remember to cut away from you. I actually prefer them over the amethyst ones, due to contrast issues mainly. Which is not to say that the amethyst ones don't work (I got a set of them as well) Will definitely order again, since the customer service is great and trustworthy, dealing with issues that may come up quickly and efficiently. Most of the sets I ordered were gifts for friends and they were also thrilled with their dice. Definitely recommended gift for role playing friends, especially if you can actually dedicate the extra time to clean and paint them properly.

Nostalgia plus nice...but...
Color - excellent, beautiful Clarity - excellent Precision - good Pros - edges are nice, beautiful color Cons - Okay, I DON'T MIND the casting sprue, I know all about it, but, inaddition a couple have thin flash that must be trimmed carefully. The real problem is that on the 10's decahedron (10, 20, 30, etc.) the numbers have a circle around them. Clearly a mold artifact from drilling out an original single digit decahedron master and inserting 10-based inserts, instead of machining a new master. This faint but discernible circle ruins the perfect face of the 10's die. Sad, and why I can't give 5 stars. But it's nice to have sharp, gem dice again.
