7 Piece Polyhedral Sets

Now GAMESCIENCE® HIGH IMPACT™ PRECISION EDGED™ Polyhedral Dice are available in a 7-PIECE SET featuring the DECKAIDER™ D10 along with D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and a True D20, packaged in clear plastic retail packaging.

Since 1974, Gamescience® has been making dice from the highest quality plastics. Avoiding the tumbling process gives Gamescience® dice a razor edge and ensures uniformity. Each face has equal opportunity to land every time. A mold-point may be noticed on one face of the die and may require some touch up with model-grade sandpaper, we do try to catch and remove any substantial issues prior to shipping but do occasionally miss one.

Gamescience® dice are backed by a 2 year guarantee against premature wear, no other dice manufacturer offers that.

To assure that every edge and vertex holds its mathematically precise dimensions, all Gamescience® dice are clipped by hand from the casting sprue, which leaves a minor blemish. These sharp pristine edges dissipate uniform amounts of energy as each contacts the table. Filing down the blemish improves randomization. Imported dice have no blemish cause they are tumbled in a rock polisher, which eliminates the blemish while rounding off all of the edges, and changes each face and edge into a unique shape which leaves every dice egg shaped and unable to randomize evenly.

A great set of smokey gem dice
I bought a set of "regular" dice that were also advertised as being a "Smoke" color, and those of course do not compare to these. I use this set as my DM dice, and I love rolling them. Caught my dog chewing on the d20, but it still rolls true!

Finally! Smokey Quartz is back!
Before GS re-released this set, I scoured the internet searching for them. After seeing them inked with gold in a pic I found online, they became my most sought after, holy-grail of dice sets. You wouldn't believe my enthusiasm when they put them up on their website for sale again. I ordered the Smoke set inked with gold and am extremely happy with the subtle look of the transparent grey of the dice and contrast of the numbers. I use them to roll for the bad guys or undead. Be careful with these! I almost TPK'd my players with them. The skeleton's kept critting! lol.

My first set of Polyhedral Dice!
I was recently coerced into playing D&D by one of my friends who has for quite some time been trying to get a weekly group together. My only experience with table top gaming, prior, has sadly been via software with my friends who live in other counties. Since there is little certainty on whether or not this group will have any sort of longevity, I wanted to get some nice but affordable dice. I did a little bit of researching which led me to this website by way of forum posts and video personality recommendations. I'm not disappointed. I purchased this set and paid a little bit extra to get the numbers inked because that's not something I could easily accomplish myself. The dice themselves are fantastic, they don't seem to favor any particular side, they roll well, and aren't too heavy. The light blue ink is a good choice for this set, it's a nice contrast that makes it easy to read even in a dim light setting. All in all, I was very satisfied with this purchase, and at the time of writing this review, I've already ordered another polyhedral set, along with some of the D6s available on GS as well.

I have been using the same set of these dice since the 1980's. The reason is simple - they roll and look great. I did some experimentation, and have found they really do roll more randomly than my import dice (using hand roll, cup roll, and dice tower). Good looking, appropriately random, and in service for 30+ years. What more could anyone want form dice?
