7 Piece Opaque Polyhedral Sets

This is the 2018 Production run of Opaque Black.

Now GAMESCIENCE® HIGH IMPACT™ PRECISION EDGED™ Polyhedral Dice are available in a 7-PIECE SET featuring the DECKAIDER™ D10 along with D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and a True D20, packaged in clear plastic retail packaging.

Since 1974, Gamescience® has been making dice from the highest quality plastics. Avoiding the tumbling process gives Gamescience® dice a razor edge and ensures uniformity. Each face has equal opportunity to land every time. A mold-point may be noticed on one face of the die and may require some touch up with model-grade sandpaper, we do try to catch and remove any substantial issues prior to shipping but do occasionally miss one.

Gamescience® dice are backed by a 2 year guarantee against premature wear, no other dice manufacturer offers that.

To assure that every edge and vertex holds its mathematically precise dimensions, all Gamescience® dice are clipped by hand from the casting sprue, which leaves a minor blemish. These sharp pristine edges dissipate uniform amounts of energy as each contacts the table. Filing down the blemish improves randomization. Imported dice have no blemish cause they are tumbled in a rock polisher, which eliminates the blemish while rounding off all of the edges, and changes each face and edge into a unique shape which leaves every dice egg shaped and unable to randomize evenly.

Great Dice
I bought myself the black with gold inking dice. The ink job was great and very well done, and the dice are fantastic. They roll very well and fairly. The quality is fantastic overall. Thank you!

A fantastic product, ALMOST no "assembly" required, just as advertised.
These are wonderful dice, and were delivered very promptly. I ordered them inked (violet) and, as implied by some of the product photos, the ink spills over the edges of the numbers' grooves pretty markedly, creating the effect of "bold" text. The ink does /fill/ the grooves, though, and the excess proved very easy to polish away with a cotton cloth, leaving an extremely tidy and still perfectly legible, colorful effect. (Warning: only very gentle polishing was necessary, and no abrasion to speak of.) The plastic nub left from the casting sprue was also, as advertised, very easy to snip off with a craft knife. We are really lucky to have this product at hobbyist prices!

My new favorite color
I purchased this set plain. I color filled the numbers using a yellow extra fine point Sharpie oil based paint marker. The yellow numbers really pop on the black dice. The black dice really hide wear and tear. These are really nice dice.

Red ink does not show up well on these dice
The dice were fine but the red ink shows up as pink. I would not recommend getting red ink on these dice. Gamescience Response: "There are over 58 shades of red, we use DecoColor Red oil-based paint or Sharpie oil based paint markers that are red, we do not select the shade of red that Marvy Uchida or Sanford uses for their products."

A good set!
They feel lighter in the palm than some other brands, but I haven't found them to roll away any further or more uncontrollably than other dice. The color is a nice shiny black as opposed to the duller blacks of many other companies' offerings. Being a bit old school, I used crayon the color the number (silver), and they look great! Sprues on the dice were cut nice and close, didn't have to do any filing or sanding. Only thing that detracts from the 5-star rating is that there are small surface/cosmetic imperfections from the casting process. But overall? A great buy!
